BUDS aim is to provide access to health, nutrition, educationand vocational skill development to children in marginalized communities to empower each individual to build their way to a brighter future. We are collaborating with the Indian Government, internationally renowned universities, corporates and allied NGOs to improve the lives of children in India.

Since 2003, BUDS has put in place many initiatives, reaching out to 87,634 children and youth. More than 25,000 children have received free health consultations and treatment, 4,836 mid-day meals have been distributed and 10,602 students have been enrolled in education programs. BUDS has developed 4 drop-in centers (DICs), in urban slums of NCT of Delhi. DICs are the most common established and efficient approach to provide holistic development for street children in India
