Mid Day Meal Program was started in July 2012 (almost 4years ago ) for Street children, mainly rag pickers, child laborers, children engaged in menial tasks, work in eateries in Red Fort-Mori gate area of old Delhi. Every day 35-45 children at the Mori Gate DIC are served hot cooked food. Raw material are bought from local sabzimandi, local grocery store, all bills/receipts are kept every month. Cooking gas cylinders are also provided.

Field program manager Yawer Qaiyam, Staff supervisor Sandhya Mandal, Cook Sunita Sharma are responsible for the success of this program. Major donors of this program are Dr Meera Prakash, Dr Shalini Bansal & Mr. RC Mody.
